Every element of the audio system overhauled: speakers, subwoofer, amplification, signal processing, and acoustic treatment — selected and calibrated specifically for the vehicle and the owner.

System Three is where the Hilux becomes a genuinely different vehicle to spend time in. Front and rear speakers replaced throughout. Dedicated subwoofer behind the rear seat. Full door deadening across all four doors. DSP processor calibrated by ear. This is the build for owners who spend serious time in their Hilux and want the audio to match everything else they've invested in the vehicle.

On Hilux models where head unit replacement is possible, we'll include it — it's always a better outcome and gives the DSP a cleaner signal to work with from the start.

HOW THIS SYSTEM WORKS:

Front component speakers replace the factory drivers — selected specifically for the Hilux's cab size, door configuration, and the owner's listening preferences. Component sets range from high-value performers through to reference-grade drivers. The DSP platform is engineered to make all of them perform beyond their price point.

Rear speakers are upgraded and independently controlled via the DSP. In a double cab Hilux where rear passengers are a regular consideration, proper rear speaker performance matters — and independent control over the rear stage means it supports the overall soundstage rather than competing with it.

The subwoofer can still go under the seat or under the dash.  OR if there's room, we can fit a custom subwoofer enclosure behind the rear seat — one of the better subwoofer positions in any ute. Properly enclosed, properly amplified, tuned to complement the full frequency range rather than dominate it.

Sound deadening across all four doors addresses the acoustic environment the speakers are working in, not just the speakers themselves. The Hilux double cab door is large and largely hollow — treating all four significantly reduces the road and tyre noise that competes with the audio system at speed and makes the cab a noticeably quieter, more refined space for everyone in it. For owners who want to go further, our Ultimate Sound Deadening Package extends the treatment to the floor, roof lining, firewall, rear wall, and tailgate.

The DSP processor is calibrated using professional, specialist software — precise, independent control over every driver in the system, tuned for the specific vehicle and owner's preferences. Wired remote controls are available for bass and volume adjustment.

For JBL-equipped models, we can work with the existing hardware where it's capable or replace it entirely. We'll recommend the right approach for your specific vehicle and budget.
