J5 EV
The J5 EV is Jaecoo's electric entry point — a compact SUV with an 8-speaker system including factory tweeters. No subwoofer, no premium audio branding, but a solid foundation for an upgrade. The quiet EV cabin works in your favour — less road noise means more of the music, and more of every flaw in the factory system. System One makes an immediate difference. System Two unlocks the full potential of what's already installed.
J7 & J7 SHS
The J7 and J7 SHS both leave the factory with Sony 8-speaker premium audio — 4 speakers and 4 tweeters across both variants. Sony's hardware is capable. What it lacks is the signal processing to realise its full potential, and a subwoofer to handle the low-frequency range entirely absent from the factory specification. System Two is the natural fit — DSP amplification transforms what Sony is capable of in this cabin.
J8 SHS
The J8 SHS is Jaecoo's flagship — and its most substantial audio platform. Sony 12-speaker premium audio with headrest-integrated speakers for the driver. Impressive factory specification, but the same story as the rest of the range: no subwoofer, and factory tuning that limits what Sony's hardware can actually do. A DSP amplifier is the upgrade that changes that. System Two is where most J8 SHS owners will land — and the results are exceptional.

Every Jaecoo leaves the factory with a capable speaker setup and tweeters already fitted. What varies is the subwoofer situation — some models have one, some don't. System One addresses this directly: we add a compact underseat subwoofer where there isn't one, or upgrade the factory unit where there is. No changes to the factory speakers, no changes to the head unit. Just proper bass, properly controlled.

A multichannel DSP amplifier takes independent control of every speaker in the vehicle — timing, phase, and equalisation corrected per channel. For the J7 and J8 SHS with Sony premium audio, the hardware is genuinely capable. The DSP unlocks what the factory tuning was never designed to provide. Where a subwoofer isn't already fitted we add one — where one is, we can upgrade it. Sound deadening in the front doors reduces road noise and gives each speaker the acoustic environment it needs. How long does the installation take?
Most Jaecoo audio upgrades are completed in a single day. System Three builds with full speaker replacement and DSP calibration may require the vehicle overnight. We'll give you a clear timeframe when you book.
How much does a Jaecoo audio upgrade cost?

Will an audio upgrade affect my CarPlay or factory features?
Every system we install leaves the factory head unit and all factory controls in place. CarPlay, Android Auto, and steering wheel controls all work exactly as before. Nothing is removed. Nothing is bypassed. The upgrade sits behind the scenes.
