BYD AUDIO UPGRADE — SYSTEM THREE
The complete build. Every element of the audio system addressed — speakers, subwoofer, amplification, and acoustic treatment — selected and calibrated specifically for the vehicle and the owner.
System Three is where the BYD becomes the listening experience it was always capable of being. Front and rear speakers are upgraded throughout. The DSP processor gives us independent control over every driver. The subwoofer is tuned to complement the full frequency range rather than dominate it. Sound deadening goes into all four doors. The system is calibrated by ear before you leave.

HOW THIS SYSTEM WORKS:
Front component speakers replace the factory drivers with units selected specifically for the BYD's cabin size, door configuration, and the owner's listening preferences. Component sets range from high-value performers through to reference-grade drivers in Kevlar, silk, or carbon fibre — the DSP platform is engineered to make all of them perform beyond their price point.
Rear speakers are upgraded and amplified as part of the full system — not an afterthought. The multichannel DSP gives us independent control over front and rear independently, so the rear contribution supports the overall soundstage rather than competing with it.
The subwoofer at System Three level can be a larger unit than System One or Two — still compact enough to fit under a seat or underfloor, but with more output and a dedicated mono amplifier providing clean, controlled power specifically for low frequencies. Bass level is adjustable via the DSP app at any time.
Sound deadening across all four doors significantly reduces the road, tyre, and wind noise that competes with the audio system at speed. The doors perform better as speaker enclosures, and the cabin becomes a noticeably quieter, more focused listening environment.
The system is calibrated by ear using the music that matters most to the owner — not a test tone, not a measurement average, but a real listening session in the actual vehicle until it's exactly right.
For the Sealion 8 Premium with its 21-speaker factory system — System Three is where we make sense of all of them. "More speakers" looks good in the brochure but it doesn't necessailry guarantee it's going to sound the way YOU want it to. Proper amplification, proper calibration, and a complete control over the tuning to your exact preferences — that's better sound.
Nothing about the interior looks different. Everything about how it sounds is.
