WHAT THIS DOES:

The door treatment is the most impactful single change. The Hilux door is large, largely hollow, and acts as a drum at speed. Deadening material applied to the door skin and inner panel firms everything up — eliminating the resonance, reducing the road noise that passes through the door, and turning the door into a proper sealed acoustic environment for the speakers.

The floor treatment addresses the largest surface area in the cabin. Tyre noise transmits directly through the floor pan — deadening under the carpet makes a noticeable difference to the overall noise level that no audio upgrade alone can replicate.

Roof lining, firewall, rear wall, and tailgate treatment eliminate the remaining resonance points that contribute to the overall noise environment. In a double cab Hilux carrying passengers regularly, the cumulative effect is significant — the cabin becomes notably quieter and more refined.
