The Suzuki Jimny is many things. Quiet is not one of them.
Road noise, wind noise, and drivetrain noise are significant in the Jimny cabin — particularly at highway speeds. The hard surfaces, thin door skins, and compact body structure give noise very little resistance. The result is a cabin that's loud, tiring on long trips, and acoustically hostile to any audio system trying to perform inside it.
Sound deadening changes that. Professionally installed acoustic material applied to the doors, roof, floor, tailgate, and cargo area reduces noise transmission significantly — damping vibration, blocking road and wind noise, and making the entire cabin noticeably more refined.
It's one of the most cost-effective upgrades available for the Jimny, and it makes every journey more comfortable regardless of whether an audio upgrade follows.
