Every BYD leaves the factory with speakers mounted in the doors or dash, but no subwoofer and limited amplification. The result is audio that sounds thin and distant, especially at motorway speeds where road noise fills in the gaps the factory system leaves behind.
System One addresses this directly.

HOW THIS SYSTEM WORKS:
The subwoofer fills in the low-frequency range the factory speakers simply cannot produce — not because they're bad speakers, but because no door-mounted driver can physically move enough air to produce proper bass. A compact active subwoofer hidden under a seat does this without taking up any visible space and without announcing itself to the street.
The tweeter upgrade matters because most BYD models — even those with branded audio systems — use tweeters that are either inadequate or positioned poorly. Tweeters lift the sound up towards ear level, creating width and separation between channels, and reproducing the upper frequency detail in vocals and instruments that the factory units roll off. The difference is immediately noticeable on any recorded music.
Sound deadening in the front doors firms up the door panels, which act as speaker enclosures. As the door skin vibrates, energy that should become sound is lost as vibration instead. Deadening reduces this loss and lets the speakers work as they're designed to.
The amplifier drives both the new tweeter set and the factory front speakers with proper power — the factory head unit in every BYD simply doesn't have enough output to drive the speakers cleanly at volume. The amp does the heavy lifting so the head unit doesn't have to.
Everything is hidden. Nothing looks different. The factory stereo, CarPlay, and all factory controls work exactly as before.
