BYD AUDIO UPGRADE — SYSTEM TWO
Complete control over every speaker in your BYD — with a multichannel DSP amplifier at the centre of it all.
System Two builds on the subwoofer and tweeter foundation of System One by adding a multichannel DSP processor amplifier that takes independent control of every speaker and tweeter in the vehicle. This is the upgrade that transforms a good-sounding system into a great one — and for BYDs equipped with Dynaudio, it's where the factory hardware finally gets the amplification it was designed for.
SYSTEM TWO INCLUDES:

HOW THIS SYSTEM WORKS:
The multichannel DSP amplifier is the engine of System Two. Think of it as a 30-band equaliser for every individual speaker in the vehicle — not just a single EQ applied to the whole system, but independent timing, phase, and frequency correction for each driver. This means we can correct the acoustic problems that every car cabin creates: reflections, phase cancellations, and frequency imbalances that no head unit EQ can fix.
The DSP also solves a fundamental problem with every BYD's factory signal chain — the head unit doesn't provide a clean, line-level output. The DSP processor takes the speaker-level signal, cleans it, optimises it, and distributes it correctly to every amplified channel. The result is significantly lower distortion and dramatically better control.
For BYDs with Dynaudio — the Seal, Sealion 7, and Shark 6 — the factory Dynaudio speakers are technically god hardware. They are significantly underpowered by the factory amplification. A 12-channel DSP amplifier, as used on our Shark 6 build, gives these speakers the power and headroom they were designed for. The improvement in volume, clarity, and bass response is substantial — and the system remains fully adjustable via Bluetooth app at any time.
For models with basic factory audio, front door speakers are replaced with a high-performance component set at this stage. For Dynaudio-equipped models, the factory speakers are typically retained — they don't need replacing; they need proper power.
Everything is hidden. The factory interface remains unchanged.
