BYD Shark 6 Audio Upgrade — System One

The Shark 6 in New Zealand has a Dynaudio system with 12 speakers, and the speakers aren't the problem. Power is. System One fixes that with a multichannel DSP amplifier that drives every speaker individually, and treats all four doors with sound deadening.

The factory head unit and screen stay exactly as they are. We keep the factory subwoofer and blend it into the tuning, so the bass becomes part of the music, not all of it.

HOW THIS SYSTEM WORKS:

The DSP amplifier sits between the factory amplifier and the speakers. It sets volume, EQ and timing for each of the 12 speakers on its own, so the sound from every speaker reaches you at the same moment. That puts you in the middle of the music, not over on the driver's side. More power also means the door speakers play lower than you would expect.
