BYD Shark 6 Radar and Laser Protection
BYD SHARK 6 RADAR AND LASER PROTECTION
100% legal in New Zealand.
A radar detector is only useful if it's with you when you need it. We supply and install New Zealand's best radar and laser protection — from premium portable detectors with permanent hardwired power through to fully stealth-installed systems with no obvious components on display.
OPTION ONE - PORTABLE DETECTOR WITH PERMANENT POWER
The cleanest portable setup available. We supply a quality radar detector and hardwire a permanent power connection to your windscreen mount location. No cables hanging from the lighter socket. No cord across the dash. The detector powers on with the truck and sits cleanly in position every time.
We have carefully chosen the best on offer from Uniden, Genevo and Escort.
Already have a detector you're happy with? We can hardwire a permanent power supply to your existing unit — just ask.
OPTION TWO - FULLY INSTALLED STEALTH SYSTEM
Virtually invisible. Never left behind.
The most capable and most discreet option. A permanently installed radar and laser detection system with no visible components from outside the vehicle and nothing obvious inside either.
The detector head mounts behind the grille or bumper. The display/controller tucks out of sight inside the cabin. Everything is hardwired and integrated. Nothing can be seen from outside, and nothing is worth smashing a side window for, which makes your Shark less of a target for opportunist thieves.
Key advantages:
- Will never be stolen
- No visible wires or windscreen clutter
- Never left at home or forgotten
- Far less conspicuous if you're ever pulled over
- Virtually invisible from outside the vehicle
- 100% legal in New Zealand
Available stealth systems: Genevo | Stinger | Uniden
Laser protection is available via direct enquiry — contact us to discuss your specific requirements and how you use the vehicle.
The Shark 6 is a plug-in hybrid with a high-voltage system, so we wire it in the way it needs to be done. Pricing varies by detector model and installation type. Contact us to discuss the best option for your Shark 6.
